Road Meeting Minutes from September 16, 2017
On Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm 17 homeowners met at Overflow Coffee to discuss what steps need to be taken to improve our roads in the Paulden area … starting with N Mitchell Ln from Big Chino Rd to Vista Way, W Antelope Run from Mitchell Ln to N Naples St.
We started by electing officers:
President Jean Reno
V.P. Donna Crisfield
Sec’y/Treas Phyllis Henley
The amount of $10,000 was discussed as a starting point. This would be approximately $200 per household along these streets. We need to set up a bank account so the graders, etc. can be paid. We would start grading the worst areas such as N Mitchell Ln north of W Ranch House Ln and W Antelope Run which would be divided into 3 sections.
Two estimates were submitted but did not include the same type/area of work to be done. So, bids of equal comparisons need to be submitted. If anybody has a suggestion of who to ask for bids, please let an officer know. A phrase would have to be included not to exceed certain parameters.
We did have a volunteer to draw up a scope of the work to be done.
Prioritizing also needs to be determined.
I will be contacting somebody at the church where the PACO meetings are held so we won’t have to drive into Chino Valley for these meetings which will probably be monthly in the beginning and eventually fade out to once a year.
